 Now that Mother 3/Earthbound 2 actually has a release date, it's time to
barrage Nintendo of America with a bunch of actual letters, not emails. It
seems that NoA is getting irritated by our emails, so now is an ideal time
to let them know how we feel, and they'll make it happen.
- 1. Write a letter to NoA, requesting that Earthbound 2/Mother 3 be released in the USA. Make it neat, coherent, and organized.
It may not be wise to mention Mother 1+2 as it's not really necessary. One
game is enough. We don't NEED the originals re-released.
Don't just put in a sentence saying you want the game, but add how much you
enjoyed Earthbound, and how much you would enjoy Earthbound 2.
If your handwriting is legible, it's ok to write it by hand. Whether you
type it or handwrite it, make sure you place a signature, like so:

It may be cool to include some fan art if you can draw well enough. Or,
attach a short message requesting Mother 3/Earthbound 2 to a self-made
Earthbound postcard.
- 2. Once it's been written, email me at quadomatic[at]gmail[dot]com
- 3. Once we reach an acceptable number (any ideas of what would be
acceptable? Hopefully more than just 50 or 60 like with the original Project
Ruffini) we will all mail our letters on the EXACT SAME DAY, so hopefully
they will reach at about the same time.
This may not seem like a lot, but it's definetly a lot cheaper and easier
than making a huge freakin petition. If they get a whole crap load of
letters at a time, instead of spreading them thin, then maybe this will make
a difference. We're not asking them to make a whole new game, or remake a
game that was made a long time ago. We're asking them to translate a game
that already has a set release date. So, if they get enough letters, why
not?
ALSO, I can't stress enough how important it is to place the news of this
campaign across the internet on other forums, irc channels, blogs, websites,
etc. If we want to get enough letters sent out, so that NoA employees are
hauling Earthbound letters in huge bags, we need more than just a few
people. SPREAD THE WORD!!!
The time to act is NOW! GO GO GO!
